It seems unreal right now, but my husband is on an airplane on his way to Iraq for the 2nd time in 14 months. "Goodbyes" are never easy, but at least we know that the countdown to this deployment being OVER has finally started. Spending only 10 out of the past 30 months together isn't the way I pictured my life when I married Ryan 3 and a half years ago, but I can honestly say that it has done nothing but make us stronger as individuals and as a couple. I had no idea how much I could learn about myself in that short of a time. Life as a military wife is trying and tough to say the least, but there is nothing more rewarding than knowing my husband is a true American hero. I wouldn't trade this time in my life for anything. Ryan...we love you, support you, and are praying your way home. You are our hero!

Sarah ~ I haven't been able to get you and Ryan off my mind. I know you are so strong....much stronger than I would be! Please know you are constantly in my thoughts! Ryan, his men, and you are in our prayers! I love you!
P.S. So glad you started a BLOG!!!
Hallelujah she has a blog!!!!!!!!! I love you! And, well, can't wait to come see you on our road trip. I have no idea when we're coming by the way. BUT IT WILL WORK!!! I need to talk to you! ":)
Yes, we need to talk about this trip!!!! Can we all talk on the phone at the same time??? And Molly do you have some news????
Thanks for making me cry this morning! :) I can't get you off of my mind either! I don't know how you do it. You know how I was a sissy for the 4 days I visited you last spring break...ha! I know people like me make you laugh so hard! Anyway, I'm calling you in a few minutes...when the kids go to recess! I love you, my sweet MOH! And, yay about the blog! It's about time!! ..... P.S. I think we can talk on the phone at the same time. We'll just all have to conference eachother. Why have I not thought of that before!!!? ... And, what news are we talking of!?
Yes...if there's a time all 4 of us are actually available at once that would be so fun to conference call. We definitely have plenty to talk about with this upcoming trip, Molly's news (?!?), and my entry into the blog world. I need help figuring this dumb thing out!! I love you all so so much.
oh the blog world makes me giggle...i can hear my girls sight-reading in the background. i'm making them do it for a grade by themselves. they hate me! hahahah...love/hate relationship. conference calling would be fun and hilarious! :) yea!!!! i wish i had dogs.
Molly you crack me up with the random comment about puppies!!!! Honestly, out of all of us, I am shocked that you don't have a puppy of your own!
I am all for the conference call, although I think Sarah has a point about us all being free to talk at the same time!
i'm free from 4-730 tonight!

And I was too, but I'm just reading this now...so that doesn't really help!?!?!? Sorry!
